Why turkey
earns its place.
Turkey is one of the most underrated proteins in dog nutrition. Lean like chicken, but with more zinc, more tryptophan, and a milder allergen profile. We hand-form thin patties so they break apart easily — built for training, not for show.
01 — Calming protein
Naturally rich in tryptophan.
Turkey contains higher levels of tryptophan than most meats — the amino acid that helps produce serotonin and supports calm, balanced behaviour. A useful daily protein for anxious or reactive dogs, and one of the reasons turkey shows up in vet-recommended calming diets.
02 — Zinc-dense
Coat, skin, immune support.
Turkey is one of the highest natural sources of zinc in any meat — the trace mineral behind a glossy coat, fast wound healing, and a robust immune system. Dogs with dull coats or recurring skin flare-ups often have low zinc; turkey is one of the simplest ways to top it back up.
03 — Training-grade
Soft, breakable, high-value.
The hand-formed patties are softer than dehydrated strips — they tear cleanly into tiny pieces with one hand, so you can mark a behaviour fast without fumbling. Dogs go for the smell every time. High enough value to use in distracting environments, lean enough to keep using all session.
04 — Lower allergy profile
Gentler than chicken or beef.
Turkey causes far fewer allergic reactions than chicken or beef simply because it appears in fewer commercial diets — most dogs haven't built sensitivity to it. A solid daily option for poultry-tolerant dogs whose systems flag at chicken.
