Most commercial treats are engineered for shelf life, not health span — packed with fillers, preservatives and proteins so over-processed there’s barely any nutrition left. We do the opposite. 01 — The label test

Why filler-freematters most.

Most commercial treats lean on fillers — wheat, corn, rice flour, glycerin, 'meat meal' — to bulk out the bag and stretch margins. Dogs don't need any of it, and many quietly react to it: itchy skin, loose stools, low energy, weight gain.

One ingredient on the label means one ingredient in the bag. No bulkers, no binders, no preservatives, no 'natural flavours.' Easier to digest, easier to trace if something doesn't agree — and exactly what you're feeding, every time.

02 — Method

Why dehydration preserves nutrients.

High-heat cooking and extrusion destroy heat-sensitive nutrients — amino acids denature, enzymes break down, and B vitamins are lost. Low-temperature dehydration removes only the moisture, leaving protein, minerals and natural enzymes biologically intact. Same nutrient density as the raw meat, in a shelf-stable form.

Why broth supports gut health.

24-hour simmered bones release gelatin, glycine and glutamine — amino acids that help repair and seal the gut lining, calm inflammation, and feed beneficial gut flora. The same simmer also draws out collagen, glucosamine and electrolytes, so one pour supports digestion, joints and hydration in a single feed.

Why roo suits allergies.

Most food allergies are reactions to proteins a dog has eaten repeatedly — chicken, beef, lamb. Kangaroo is a true novel protein: very few dogs have been exposed, so the immune system has nothing to flag. It's also naturally lean, low in fat and high in iron — the elimination-diet protein vets reach for first.

Slow-simmered for 24 hours in small batches using fresh Australian grass-fed bones, quality herbs and carefully selected ingredients — no fillers, no preservatives.

Every batch is then hand-strained, chilled in the fridge for several hours, and the solid fat cap is lifted off by hand before pouching. That extra day of work is why our broth pours rich and clear — naturally lower in fat than a typical bone broth, and gentler on fussy tummies.
